After losing to Cyberglobe in round 5, we dropped to Losers bracket and awaited matches in round 6 to see who we would face for round 7. It was Pandemic, recently ranked 6 on Top 10 North American CoD teams on http://www.gotfrag.com/cod/features/720/.
Starting as Axis we held our side pretty well. Auto had few monster rounds, once where he mowed down 3 Complexity players while dodging their bullets. Night did great job sniping. We dropped 3 rounds as Axis and won 9. One of the rounds we lost was when Complexity rushed bomb A, however 2nd time they tried it we stopped them cold.
Being up 9-3 after first half we felt pretty good about our chances. We rushed first round, planted the bomb and had good odds, but Complexity managed to clutch the round. This really gave a boost to their morale I believe because for next few rounds we were shut down cold. Eventually night took control of church and killed 2-3 enemies. However, DJSatane at the same time naded the church and team killed night. During the same round DJ also managed to team kill brooks. 2 team kills in 1 round by DJSatane! Complexity's veritgo and bryce started to really frag us. We had another round where we had 4 players alive with bomb planted, Complexity had 3 players still alive, they managed to kill us all within 6 seconds, 1 nade taking out 2... In the end we were destroyed 0-10 second half. Final score Complexity won 13-9. With this loss we take 4th place in the tournament with $350 prize. GG.
