[WTF] vs [b-] @ TWL SD Alpha League Match - May 06, 2004 - Spring 2004, Week #2

First of all starting this match we didnt really have time to make strats so we basically made up basic strats on the spot, like cover north, cover south etc. First few rounds on axis we fell apart by b-'s rush but after we got out of our coldness we started to step up. We didnt do too well on axis though as we finished only 7-5. We were kind of worried going into russian
but we were confident we could maybe pull this win. First few rounds we decided to take it slow but it did not work. We than decided to copy what b- did and just full out hard rush. Behind Darkstar's rifle and 5 powerful PPSH's we started to win rounds. We kept trading rounds with b- until finally it was 10-10. With only 4 rounds to go we knew we had to win tleast
2 to tie. Next round we continued with our hard rush and picked up the round. But quickly afterwards with great nadework from b- it was back to a tied situation 11-11. Next round we struggled again on our rush and they were able to pick up the lead 12-11, with only 1 round left we needed to win this round to push it into overtime. This time we decided to take it at a more slow approach, we camped back and waited for b- to spam their nades and we let DS work his magic. After a minute or so we planned a rush for A. We
all went our ways and everyone showed great skill and killed the guy who they ran into to win the last round and push it into over time 12-12.
In overtime we started as axis, We knew we had to win all 3 to pretty much seal the deal because we were confident in our aggressive russian strat. We won the first 2 rounds with ease but unfortuanetly b- slipped a round in on us with thier rush making it 2-1 us on axis. We switched sides and immediately rushed on the first round and easily took the first round score. 1-0 as russian, that means we would only need 1 round in the next 2 to take the match. Next round we tried to rush the same way but b- stopped our tracks with a flood of nades, 1-1. This was it, if b- can pull off this win we would go into sudden death but if we win this round it would of been over. We rushed again this round but again b- stopped us once again. Time for double overtime (sudden death).
How sudden death works is the home team gets to pick what side they want and the teams play 1 round, whoever wins that round is declared the winner. We were home so we picked the defending side, axis. At the start of the round b- started nading under the main tower as we ran to our positions, unfortuanetly for Ace he got a horrible spawn and got swallowed by the flood of nades, but thankfully immediately after ace's fatality TheGame sniped an enemy. 5v5, Again TheGame sniped one making it 5v4 in our favor. But than DS and GameOva got taken out but b4 TheGame took out another 1 with his sniper making it 3v3. At a last desperate attempt, b- decided to rush A, fortuanetly Panther and ryan were watching guard and as 2 ran in, 2 got killed. 3v1. All we had to do now is camp this 1 guy out and we will be the winners of this exciting match. Ryan got takin out with seconds left and Panther and TheGame noticed he was running for site b with only 16 seconds to go, when the enemy reached the bomb to plant he had no time to let it go
so Panther went in with the easy mg kill while the enemy was planting.
